PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: August 23, 2026
Elizer Logistics LLC (“ELIZER LOGISTICS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a licensed interstate motor carrier (US DOT 4542007, MC 1802577) operating dedicated freight transportation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, request a quote, coordinate a shipment with us by phone, call, or text, or access our accounting and dispatch integrations, and how we use and protect that information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact & account data — name, business name, email address, phone number, and mailing address provided when you request a quote, onboard, or create a portal account.
- Freight & operational data — shipment origins/destinations, equipment type, load details, and tracking information submitted through our forms and integrations.
- Financial & accounting data — billing details and accounting records exchanged through authorized integrations such as Intuit QuickBooks, used solely to process invoices and settlements.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and usage logs collected automatically when you visit our site.
2. How We Use Information
- To coordinate and dispatch the freight you engage us to transport.
- To generate freight quotes and manage carrier and driver qualification records.
- To process invoicing, payments, and settlements, including via authorized accounting integrations (e.g., Intuit QuickBooks).
- To send operational SMS/text updates — load status, ETAs, and facility details — to numbers that have opted in as described in Section 3 below.
- To communicate operational updates, tracking notifications, and support.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal and DOT/FMCSA obligations.
3. SMS / Text Messaging
We use SMS/text messaging to send time-sensitive operational updates — load status, estimated arrival times, and facility or gate details — to brokers, shippers, and facility contacts actively coordinating a shipment with us, and to our own driver for dispatch coordination.
We collect a phone number for texting in one of two ways:
- Verbally, when a number is provided to our dispatch line for the purpose of coordinating an active load; we confirm consent to text before adding the number to any messaging list.
- By text, when a caller uses our phone system’s tracking option and texts a load or PRO number to our SMS line to receive status updates — sending that first text is itself the opt-in.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information is not shared with any third party under any circumstances.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
4. Third-Party Services & Integrations
We rely on trusted third-party processors to operate our platform. These include our cloud hosting and database providers and our accounting integration. We share with each only the information necessary to perform its function, and we require each to protect that information:
- Intuit QuickBooks — when you authorize the connection, we access and exchange accounting and invoicing data through Intuit’s API solely to manage billing and settlements. We do not sell this data. Use of Intuit data is governed by Intuit’s applicable terms and policies in addition to this Policy.
- Cloud infrastructure & database — our application and data are hosted with our cloud platform and managed database providers under their respective data-protection commitments.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data subject to those obligations.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security on our database — to protect your information. Access to sensitive financial credentials is restricted to authorized server-side processes only. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent for integrations you have authorized. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
